Good info Dropshot. Nice way to present your fishing report. I wish others would do this, instead of just saying I caught 12 today.

Anyone having any luck on topwaters early/late? What part of the lake seems to be best for the early bite-- main lake points on inside coves?
John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

I've been the last two Sundays and no topwater fish for me. Actually I olny caught one fish under 15' of water and it was a dink.
We have been fishing anywhere from 15' - 40+'. Not quantity, but they have been nice ones(2-6lb). Last Sunday the back of the boat caught his biggest bass yet at 9lbs. CPR practiced. The bite has been very slow, the slower you move the bait the better. Tight line the worm. Hope this helps someone out, but from what I saw and heard the last two Sundays have been plain tough!
Good Luck!

I was out there one of those Sundays, July 31. A buddy and I launched out of the Minnow Bucket and fished from the 154 bridge down to Caney. We caught a few dinks and one fish barely in the slot, mainly on Texas rigged worms in 12-16 feet.
As it seems it always is when I go to Fork, the bite was slow. In six hours of fishing, I caught a five fish "limit" of under fish that probably would have weighed a total of four pounds.
I hope I find something a little better during our bass club tourney there in a couple of weeks.
