Had a tournament up there 3 weeks ago and caught lots of fish, 1 over the slot, and lots in and under...best fish came from between docks on the south side of the area that I call 3 fingers area which is creek area south of wise county park which has lots of docks....most fish were caught on crawdad colored crank as long as we had cloud cover, then went to worms, mostly blue fleck....no big limits weighed in, but a very good day for numbers...have fun

well, went to the lake all was good. Caught about 20, with a few pushing the slot. ALL fish were caught on reaction baits, SB's, CB's, and Trap's. Was a pretty great day, wind was good, water was good!!! Great day to be on the water!!!

I fished alot of windy points, even headed out towards the 380 bridge, and fished in Run A Way Bay, fished in the river, and 3 fingers. Just covered alot of water. I hope this helps!

Thanks, going this sat. will try those and some of the regulars like back of the island right of wise county park and toward a main lake at the school bus slew and just before you get to the left to go to the main lake you hang a right and head straight towards the house on that point and crank that point.

Went today, (4-26) and did very well. 2 overs (1 was very nice) and 1 maybe bigger lost at boat, lots of unders, and several slots. Wish I could fish the Cross timbers open this weekend, but kids have ball game.

Deadshot,

Was anything in particular working for you? I have been out a couple of times, but seem to only find the little ones. Working the shorline and points, mainly 6ft and less.

Last Weekend (4-23) I wore the crappie out, today, no crappie, but LOTS of bass, had a couple over slot. I was fishing drop-offs around steele island.

Was there last saturday for a tourny and was able to boat one 13" bass and probably 25 sandbass and 1 crappie.Fished along east side of cause way, the little cove to your left as you enter the main lake, runaway bay cove, around stripling island and about half way from wise park and main lake.Got rained on about 8:30am then the way back to the rivers the lake was an ocean.
