I just bought a spool of invizx 15lb and put It on two crankbait rods. The line is fraying badly and breaks easily. I've sent seaguar two emails regarding my problems but have yet to get a response. Has anyone else had any problems with seaguar?

You probably just got a bad spool. I use invisx and love it. I would just bite the bullet and buy a new spool.

I have used it for almost everything for the past two years and love it. No problems that I can blame the line for.

Jeez, that's too bad. I've been through who knows how many spools and have never had a problem. Maybe it was sitting on the shelf too long?

I hope they get back to you and make it right.

Check your rod tip guides for breaks and cracks...I'll bet that's your problem

I've been using it over 3 years now and been through the thickest brush and timber and never have any problems. I'm gonna go with them and say maybe it was a bad spool. Hopefully they will give you some free spools to compensate

Wow. That's all I use & just got some big rolls in today. Nothing is perfect, just get an exchange and you'll be good. Never had any issues. Nothing touches this line IMO

I had one package like that. Its just a bad spool I'm sure. Kind of sucks that its 20 bucks, but its still the best line from the best line company out there.

I thought I had bad line before too but turned out to be the guide tip on a 7ft Falcon LowRider. It had a sharp edge and caused line to get chewed up! Especially after fighting a good fish. Check your guide tip first!

+1

I have a hard time breaking off lures when I get snagged with 15lb.

Bad spool...just buy a new one from a high volume store to ensure a new lot.
