I always fish from the bank and have varied results. Some days I will tear them up and others I will get skunked. I think it's where I am as much as anything, but I would be happy with just a few fish every trip. Any tips?

Thanks,
Olen

Yeah that costs money that I don't have. If I had a boat it
Would be easier. That's why I'm asking for advice from
Successful bank fisherman. Maybe little tips and tricks. I know bank fishin is harder, that's why I would like some help from people who do well consistently.

Thanks,
Olen

Read the conditions and put the time in. They can't all be barn burners.

Thanks Bob, I am working on putting the time in. I think my weakest point is location, but I am working on it.
And I need to get another rod from you! Off topic bit still true. Haha

Thanks,
Olen

Location and good bait helps a lot. It's still fishing, what works today won't the next day sometimes. I change bait size a lot and sometimes bait all together, somedays it's all shad others cut carp sometimes both. If they ain't biting in one spot I move, I've moved 6 or 8 times in one day. Good luck

i think the willingness to move is the biggest factor. In a boat you reel in, pull up anchor and go. On the bank, you have to carry your gear back to the truck, drive to another spot, set up, ect....

you can wait on the fish, some days they are there, some days they will eventually show up and some days they won't

PB Blue Cat = 36 lbs - Texoma
PB Black Bass = 9.9 lbs - Ray Hubbard
PB Striper = 19 Lbs - Beaver Lake AR

I'm thankful for all the things i have, and all the things i don't. I have dreams that will come true and i have some that won't.
