Caught this one on a double blade buzz bait. Quite a site watching her chase it in about 6" of water with half of her body out of the water.

This was a great day. Two Saturdays ago actually. 4 8's(one on double buzzbait, one on top of algae with superfluke, and the other two on large crank baits about 3-5' deep)

A few 7s a few 5s and a few smaller ones not worth mentioning. A month ago my buddy nailed a 9 and a 10.

The buzzbait bite has been amazing the last few weeks. Especially near fish guarding fry.

My buddies have both caught 10lb+ fish in that pond.

I mainly fish Flower Mound area(I live in Corinth) looking for a few guys with knowledge of the Denton area. Willing to swap some spots.

Wow ... Great Job!!! I'm betting after your post, your inbox is gonna get quite a workout! The ponds near me have always been pretty good producers, but this is just off the scale!!

Nice! I had the top water bite figured out at a pond I fished but they've all been dinks. Maybe it's time to switch to a buzz bait.

That fish is a beauty

That was actually the sun rising on my face. About 8am or so. It only got better as the day went on but that was the biggest one I caught. My buddies each caught 1 larger.

It was a double buzzbait with as slow of a retrieve as you could while still keeping it on top of the water.

Yesterday I caught 3 4lbers on a black topwater bait with a clicker.

This time of year buzzbaits are deadly on ponds. With bass still guarding fry and post spawn fish trying to get fattened up for summer they are either actively feeding or defending their broods and loud obnoxious buzzbaits seem to get them going.

If you are struggling in ponds right now put a buzzbait on and run it along the bank downwind. They should hammer them.

I'll post some more pictures tonight of some bass I caught yesterday with spinnerbaits during the day once the wind picked up then buzzbaits in the afternoon until I ran out of time(married life).
