Warmouth bass is what we called them..very aggressive and fight to the end..

That is a green sunfish. It is different than a warmouth.
Warmouths are usually much darker, do not have the blue lines on their gill plates, and have a much splotchier coloration that does not have the vertical bars.

Just messin. Thanks for the info. Would I be ok if I tried to stock a pond by catching some of these and releasing them into the pond or would that be dumb)
