Ran by there Sunday going into Caney. There wasn't a car one there, so I figure it was closed for some reason. Should be plenty of water on the ramp now to launch.

Ya, I went there to launch and there was a sign saying there were trees across the road about 2 weeks ago. Didn't know if they got them moved. Fewer idiots up there on the weekends. South end on weekends gets dangerous

That might change...it appears they took advantage of the low water levels to do some boat lane cutting. Going to be easier to get in and out of there now...

Talked to a park ranger and he said that with the drought a lot of trees along the road were dead and with high wind have a risk of falling over. They are waiting another 2-3 weeks to see how many more fall before they re-open it.
