 Lake Waco or LBJ?? - Never been to either....

I want to try a new lake this weekend. Would you suggest Waco or LBJ? Or maybe another within 3 hours of Killeen. I can catch dinks all day on Stillhouse, looking for some new scenery and some potentially bigger fish.
What are your thoughts, suggesstions, or tips for these lakes or any danger areas to avoid. Thanks!!!

I don't know anything about LBJ and no disrepect to Waco, but I would go to Ivey. It should be close to the 3 hr distance for you. And it fishes much like Stillhouse. Except for the behemouths they are catching out there.
