Need to check from outside to outside of each tire. I had to saw off the boards on the side of a garage just above the fender well height once to get one to fit. Bought some pins so I could slide the boards in and out. Wife thought I was nuts. She was correct.

Freaking hilarious ! Did the same thing almost to a T once in 86. Wife thought the same thing. I got rid of her.

Texasbasin, if you can somehow get it in your garage, you will really appreciate it being in your presence. You can work on it, clean it, pimp it out, ect...

It will be a lot cheaper in the long run also.

It is covered under your home insurance (while stored in the garage).

There are so many advantages to your garage, just make it work.

Try to anyway cheers

Most standard garage doors are 10'. Your door is less than 8'. must be a real old house and a standard trailer width is 8'.

Sadly, I had this problem too. I never thought about the WIDTH of the boat when we bought ours, I was just worried about the length. Sure enough our garage door of the house we were renting was 8' (and its not that old of a house, built in the mid 80s) and the width of our trailer is 8'2". Least to say it has motivated us to buy a house with a bigger garage! smile

Note: Next garage needs to be a single door two car garage!

Your problem is one of the reasons that I ended up with the Allison XB2003. Standard trailer is 93", however I now have it on an aluminum trailer that sits at 90".

You may look towards a narrower boat. Besides an Allison, I think the Bullets and Strokers are narrow for the length. Buy one for the fit, get the speed for free grin

For the price of storage for a couple of years you could get a 9' door put in.

If you own the house, for less than the cost of 1 year rent for a storage unit, you could get a 9ft. door installed in your garage.
