One of my papa's reels is from the early 80's. I use it to catch crappie anbd smaller fish because im afraid a big bass will cause too much pressure for it. My dad has a rod and reel combo that my great-grandad MADE in the 50's. Still works but we dont use it. It has one of the first zara spooks tied onto it.

I still use one of the Abugarcia Black Max reels from the early 90's. It is one of the best reels I have ever owned.

My dad had one lying around the garage. I cleaned it up and put some 65# power pro on it. Works pretty good.

I've got a rod & reel I only pull out in the spring and fall because it's a perfect rat-l-trap combo. It's a mid-80s Ambassadeur 4600 that has been used very hard for many of those years. It looked like it had been through a war zone 20 years ago, and it's still going today.

I still love to use my Quantum MG1310 with Magnum gears on my spinnerbait rod, which happens to be a Berkley Cherrywood rod that I got on clearance for $10. Crazy thing is that combo catches more fish than any other. It has to be the fact that I feel confident when using it and it feels great, makes it easy to get into the Zone!

My 1971 5000 A Garcia that I caught my 16.12 lb. bass .

ABU 5000 and 5500C that have to be at least 25 to 30 years old. Still good working reels though.

I still have a bb1ng but i dont use it much.

I have several Abu Ultra mag reels that I've had since the mid 80's and they still fish great.

2 Shimano bantam mags from the 1970's yep im that old!!! lol

I slipped up when I said that my Lew's BB-1 were my oldest still in use. I have a Zebco 33 that I got in 1963 that I still use to crappie fish with. The old Zebcos are built like a tank and it's still as smooth as my Chronarch MGs are. I bought several of the newer ones for my kids back in the late 80 and early 90s and the were total junk. It is amazing how smooth a reel with no bearings can be when built properly.

I have an Ambassador Abu Garcia that was my Grandfathers that is probably 35-40 years old, still works pretty good.

i have a mitchell spidercast i got in 1998 that i wish i would have bought 10 of when they had em on clearance for 30 bucks..

Daiwa Tri-Force 153iV from the mid to late 90's. 1 bearing reel, does awesome with braid. I use it for jigs or small swimbaits. Even the alabama rig gets tied onto it.
