trolling is a good way to locate fish and catch hybrids... If white bass where made of gold and had 4 carrot diamond eyes I would get upset.

Just think what the birds are saying on the Texas Bird Fishing Forum "here we are diving on this great ball of shad and along came this fisherman, I have to dodge flying lures. So I just left and found another spot"

Let me say this in defence of trollers. If they find a spot 1st - say a structure they are trolling back and forth over catching fish - then it would be wrong to come in there with your trolling motor or anchor and camp in his trolling lane. And, as much as I hate to see someone troll through a school of surfacing fish, if a troller finds them 1st, then he has a right to troll through them and we need to give him room.

probably the same people who pull their trailer out of the water and park right in front of the ramp so it is hard for every person after them to back down the ramp. Why do people think they are the only ones on the water?

Hmm. Probably the same clown who kept trolling my me and the kids at Grapevine last summer. Each pass he came closer and closer, then decided it would be best to troll between my boat and my buddies boat. Problem was, our 2 boats were less than 30 ft apart! Didn't faze him one bit, he just trolled on past. I noticed he had his little Zebco lightly held so I tossed my slab behind him, crossed his line, and when I felt the pressure, I set the hook. I almost yanked the rod out of his hand but he managed to barely hang on. What's wrong with people like that? I'm beginning to think they are missing a few brain cells.

I'm glad you posted about this, maybe ppl will realize what there doing after reading this.

I just can't really understand why anyone would need to troll to catch fish this time of year.

the people that do that kind of trolling don't know how to read

I will be trolling near the greenville pump station tomorrow if the wind allows, if not rainbow cove and golf course area

Oh, I have no quarrel with folks who troll, so long as they don't run right next to me as I'm trying to cast ... I know I've spent many summer days trolling Lewisville while watching my chart to find possible spots.

At the risk of drawing the ire of some of you long time TFF�ers,(especially since I�m a Green Horn) that seems a little broad to condemn an entire way of fishing based on the actions of a few people. I fish a lot of different techniques and have yet to find a style that didn�t involve a whole host of rude, nasty and obnoxious people. I don�t think the style of fishing is indicative of rude behavior, I think how they were raised is�Just my 2 cents�Thanks
