I feel obligated once again to warn you all about this coming Saturday. It will be the 10th year I have hosted my wheels-off fishing weekend at Cedar Creek.  I feel sorry for those of you that may encounter our crew on Saturday � there are a record 26 fishermen in the group this year. I will be on my best behavior, but I cannot speak for everyone. I also feel sorry for our new neighbors who just closed on their new, peaceful, tranquil, dream lakehouse. This will be their first weekend at their new house! They may be questioning their investment by Sunday.  After 9 years of guiding our group, Billy Seaman claims he has a conflict for this coming weekend. He SAYS he has a family wedding, but I think that he may just be avoiding us!! This year Varner has rounded up some buddies to help guide the trip (Bombay, Doug and Greg). I sure hope that they know what they are getting into. The homemade lure big fish contest will be in effect again this year. Last year, my dad won the contest on a lure he made out of his insulin applicator! I did not get good pics of last year�s lures to share, but will try to do so this year. I look forward to seeing you all on the water.

I've heard rumors that the Lake will be closed for maintenance this Saturday...

Not to worry. We are pretty serious Saturday on the lake. It is the late night dock fishing and double elimination washers tournament that can get out of hand!

There is an abundance of alfalfa over there, they seem to burn it at night.............Or they could be Oregon recruits on vacation.
