Largemouth are fair to good over brushpiles in 8-15 feet on Texas rigged blue flake Snap Back Creature Baits (www.terminatorlures.com), wacky rigged black-blue Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) on a "K" Wacky Hook (www.falconlures.com) and 1/8 oz.
blk/blue Terminator finesse jigs w/ pork trailers. Upriver the Guadalupe River is producing
the best numbers for our clients, mainly on the soft plastics, but also on white/chartruese
Terminator spinnerbaits and shallow running chartreuse Photon (www.photonlures.com).

Smallmouth are fair to good over rockpiles in 10'-22' on smoke 3" curl tail grubs, 1/8 oz.

I went to Bastrop on Tuesday 12/28 in the afternoon. The water was about 61 degrees in most of the lake. Discharge water was only 62 degrees but good flow. Caught 10 good fish. Biggest 5.5 pounds and the smallest 2 pounds. All were caught on deep or shallow diving shad colored cranks in the discharge area. Did not get any hits on a carolina rig or a fluke. No luck anywhere else on the lake with what we were throwing.
