on the lake after the storms had passed by 1 pm.headed north, caught a few but the fish were very scattered.there were still a few storms going on around but not on the lake.at one point the rods in the rod holder started to buzz but they stopped after a while.we left our first stop off and found a huge flock of seaguls working.we stayed on the birds for over 2 hours, the surface of the water was boiling with fish coming up all around us,we caught around 80 or so,then the fish stopped .in all a good afternoon .we had the birds to ourselves for the whole time.a good days fishing to remember

Exciting report! I am going to Tawakoni this Saturday. Where did you find the seagulls? Was it in the late afternoon?

Nice! I started to go after the storms but backed out. I knew it would be good.

Lots of birds working up and down the south shoreline (smaller fish around the state park) after the storms but we left 'em with the lightning around. I was surprised to see so many keep fishing with big lightning close by...
