I have not been out in the boat but I made a few casts off the bank at a friends house on sunday. Shad covered the bayou with small bass running through them. Caught 2 12 inch bass the catch rate should be up this week. I dont know if that will help the number of fish weighed in or not but should be more fun for the angelrs.

When the water gets back to normal the fishing is going to be great. I believe most of the fish are scattered. Im looking forward to tomorrow night.

Good Luck tonight! I was on the Sabine Saturday for a few hours and it was high and flowing strong with a lot of junk floating in the river. Still managed to catch two over 9 on a Zoom finesse worm....9 inches that is...Be careful!

I will provide all of the details when I get the information. But I know that the winner had ~5lbs and the big bass, which was ~3.5lbs.

This rain should make it tough again tomorrow. You guys cant catch a break the fishing was just starting to get better. I fished sunday evening for about 1.5 hrs and caught 6 bass the 2 best between 13 and 13.5 inch no keepers. Had another around the same size come un hooked at the boat he would have been close. Caught them all on topwaters. The fish all came off one small area where a large flat drops off to about 12 ft deep they were schooling right on the drop.

Good luck to all fishing this week.
