the spawn isn't over. Many fish spend their winter and early spring really deep and are just starting to come up. I caught a nice one today in 20' of water still full of eggs. She was in Pre-Spawn mode still.

Post spawn has hit most north Texas lakes. Early and consistent warm weather ran the spawn on most lakes all at once. Making for some tough fishing right now.

Fish bit fine on Bridgeport today. Still some spawners. Same at Fork. Still some fish on beds. lakes will still have spawning fish for a couple more weeks in this area.
