Well so much for this weekend with all this wind means crappie get a week break  Seems like this happens to me every year,my work load goes up and on the weekend the wind Howles.Par

Yep waited all week to get a dock shooting trip in.........gonna have to find a creek instead

Thinking of walking the creek this afternoon myself. Not going to take a boat out in this wind. Might just take my tube to the creek.

I refuse to let the wind keep me off the lake. If they are biting and I'm free to go, I'm fishin!
I've strategically placed lots of brush piles in areas that can be fished, even in the worst SW Texas summer winds.

Flipp, you should have gone to Babe's for some fried chicken...that's what I'd do if I was near a Babe's.

Well I painted the inside of my new barn,then went on a chicken coup tour of Wise County.That was nice time with my wife,took her to Sweetie Pies for lunch(I think I now have the green light to go fishin anytime)then we shelved the barn and started clearing out the garage.Now I can get to the weight bench (to get toned up for crappie fish'n) and to all my fish kill'n gear.I'm ready
