My little brother and his buddy wanna fish a small club tourney on Collete Creek and need some general, or specific, help.
What do you guys know about the fishing there right now? I'm just gonna pass it on to little brother, so any help / info would be greatly appreciated by 2 U.S. Army medics!!!

My nephew fishes Coleto often. He is having good luck throwing a frog in the grass and lily pads north of the bridge. Also might try a swim bait or square bill in the same areas.

Always do really well there working the ledges from top to bottom. Look at a topo map and find contour lines that run close together and find the ledge. Carolina rig worms or craws work for me. I love that lake.

Right now I would head North and just left of the island there are some small pockets on the right hand side. I would use a buzz bait pop-r and a wackey worm and flukes. I would also fish the discharge put your TM over the rope and fish the right side swim bait or crank.
