Does anyone fish the canals in Irving? I have been successful for the past 10 months. Anyone want to join me?

I may be interested in joining you!
Do you fish in areas that are marked as no fishing or are there some areas where it's allowed? I'm really hesitant to ignore no fishing signs and get run off from somewhere.
That would actually be really good for me as my boyfriend works in the evenings and I'm not allowed to go fishing by myself for safety reasons. I would love to find a female fishing partner and I live in Valley Ranch.

Oh, I know it's partly because he's jealous, however, he has agreed that I can go with a female buddy.
I actually live in a nice area, but he doesn't think it's safe for me to be out bank fishing alone. I can see his point, so I don't fight it too much.

Hi Kaeci,
I fish in safe areas and they are for fishing. One area has lights. I just do not think a woman should fish alone in the evenings no matter how nice the place.

I'm definitely interested then Ladybug. I will be going out of town this weekend, but I will send you an email and maybe we can get together next week or something.
I won't be able to fish all night on the weeknights, but I can probably get a couple of hours or so in.

He's afraid she'll meet up with a guy like me who would kill for a girl that would fish with me. Smart man, and lucky too. On a side note I'm still looking for good carp spots so if you see the golden ghosts please report.

LOL you're probably right there!
If the place looks good, maybe I'll throw a carp line in the water. I'll let you know if I get anything.

Ladybug,
It was nice talking to you the other day and I look forward to our adventures! I just wanted to ask you, what lures/bait do you use so I can make sure I'm stocked with the right stuff.
