Credit union. I got my boat loan 1.5 years ago at 3.99% in Tyler through United Heritage Credit Union. I'm not sure how rates compare now. They mistakenly quoted me that rate. I think it was supposed to be 5.99% for boats, but they honored the 3.99%. The great thing about the low rate is how much the principle drops with each payment.

Teachers Federal Credit Union; 3.50% with payroll deduction. Go join a credit Union they all have money to loan.

Not to stir the pot against the majority here, but rates are a little lower when a place (a CU) doesn't have to pay taxes, but if you currently bank with a good community bank and a good banker you should give them a shot. A full rlationship goes a long ways and you'd be surprised what they can do for you and the ways they can help when you need it.

Thanks again!!! Ended up getting 2.24% at teachers cooperative credit union in Tyler for 72 months. They are very easy to work with and I would highly recommend them.
