I am considering buying a new boat and please need help finding the best rate. I have heard people tell me they have seen as low as 4% for 6-10 years. And suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure about best rate but recently financed with Resource One Credit Union. 4.25 for 60 months. But I have high 800 credit rating.

The best rate I found was with Bank of America. You can get below their advertised lowest rate with good credit.

My boat is through a+ federal credit union. Boat was 3 years old when i bought it and got 6% for five years. Thought it was a good deal.

I got my last boat loan from my own bank. Since my business had a long standing positive relationship with them, they beat all of the other competitors at that time. I was shocked as I always thought their rates weren't competitive. Appreciate this was not their standard rates, it was a special rate because of my relationship with them. I was impressed!

Try REC lending. They beat everybody for me. Their website is reclending.com i believe.

My buddy just bought one and went thru Bancfirst 3.99% for 7 years.Thats about as good as I've seen.

Security Services Credit Union is where I have financed boats and cars for the last ten years. I have not found anyone with a better rate.
