im installing a 997 and an 1197 and want to know what mounts you guys and gals with these units like to use, the specific ones u use and any tips u might have thanks

Go to ram mounts website and choose the units you have get the ones it shows it will be 2.25 inch ball mount don't skimp and go smaller with those big units you will pissed if you do.

Something you should consider is positions you might need to move the unit to avoid the sun. Especially on the 1198, if you have a bright sun the glare can be so bad that you'll hardly be able to use it.
