Thinking about buying a 4 stroke versus an OptiMax. Your thoughts?
Is a Verdado worth the price difference?

Depends on what you're hanging it on, and what you want it to do.

If the boat is capable of handling the extra weight and still functioning I would do it(4-stroke that is). If it is a boat like in Pat's sig pic, a 4-stroke prbably not your best option.

Mercury has a new lighter-weight non-supercharged 150hp 4-stroke too. Only weighs about 24 lbs more then the opti. In my opinion no matter what boat it is going on, if your going with a mercery that would be the one I would want.
How much price difference are we talking here?
