I have herd Whitney being called the dead sea right now. Go over to Lake Aquilla next door. I caught them there about a month ago w/ an old boss. I talked to him this morning and they have been catching them over there still on c/r worms in the grass.

Maybe Buffalo Brian will read this. He was out there last weekend and caught some fish including one that was 8lbs or so. I think he was fishing in the Kings Creek area or something like that.

was out there two weekends ago and did really well around the white bluff and steele creek area. couldn't get a bite on a crankbait but caught some nice overs on a spinnerbait and several smaller fish on a t-rig green pumpkin lizard. majority of the fish were pretty tight on cover but were agressive. seemed like everytime I found a good brushpile on a wind blown bank I could count on a decent fish. That was the first time I fished the lake so I would say someone who knows the lake could do well. good luck. I've also been told that top water around grass is really good right now but I couldn't find any.

Kings Creek was killer. Go to the back and work outside the stickups to the mouth. Good luck. Thanks for giving my spot away Casey. laugh
