My boat has had some issues in the last year. My fuel pump went out and I sent it to the shop for a new one. The next time I used it the power head went out(ouch). Followed by the lower unit 3 weeks later. I just discovered that the fuel pump that was installed is not even made for marine use. It says this in bold print on the side(that was hidden). My question is, because this is obviously not the right pump; would that cause the other problems? Thanks for your help.

I did, he was a friend but I realized that he has no clue and is lazy. He is a con-man. I just wanted to know because all of those repairs cost me right at 7K. I would like to recuperate some of the losses if the wrong pump caused all of the damage.
I am going to post pictures if he will not work with me. Its not just that either; I have pictures of some things he did that will make your head spin.
