Water level full and water temps. are 87 to 92 degs. With the lake being about a foot over its full pool, there is a lot more grass and trees in the water. This makes for some very good early top water fishing . Buzz baits have been good throwing right up on the bank and the bite have been comming as soon as its goes in to the water. If you throw short a foot our two the bite is not as good. C-rig fishing has been fair in 12 to 18 foot off points and on the humps. Schooling bass are fair, we have been catching lots of smaller schooling bass the week. Fayette is looking good for some good Fall fishing, the sommer has been a little slow this year do to the heat.
