I am lookimg to buy my first kayak and after researching I think, all aspects besides paddling them. I reseached hull durabilty, accesories, leak, issues, warranty and where I would have to take or ship it for repair, how long the warranties last etc. Alot more information I am leavimg out but I think I have decided on the Tarpon clone and I was trying to find a Pescador locally. Academy said they were out as well as the other dealers I found. Guess they are trying to weed it out as some have said. Found the next Tarpon clone while spending all day today researching at west marine called a Confluence Pescador. 100.00 more than the pescador and no flush mount rod holders but I can handle that myself. Thought I would help out anyone else looking to buy one or and old pro at that!

I work down the street from the Academy in Grapevine I'll look tomorrow and see if they still have one they did a week or so ago
