I wonder if you'd accidentally end up in jail shortly after.

I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy about the fishing that day. If my memory is correct I believe the weather did start out badly. I would be more than happy to visit with you over the phone and see what we can do to resolve any bad experience that you may had that day. I pride myself on having a good time with clients and them leaving with a good feeling about the day of fishing. Sincerely, Captain Phillip Durst

I can only speak from my past experiences with Phillip (and I've had several). He is a good fisherman and treats my family very well. I've never been asked to meet him at a gas station. Why would you meet at a gas station? Phillip always works hard and we seem to do as well if not better than any other guides at the dock. Maybe you expected too much and mother nature was not nice. I don't know your situation. Phillip is a good guide and I will continue to use his services.

One more thing, regarding Jefe's post about limiting out by 8am. LOL. What a joke. How do you limit out by 8 when the sun doesn't come up until 7:30? You are the best fisherman in the world. Please make a tv. show so I can learn your secrets. I've left the dock many times after 8am and caught many limits of fish. Phillip leaves the dock later sometimes so we don't waste time waiting for the fish to start eating. Jefe, you're a legend in your own mind.

Phillip deserves a rebuttal and follow-up phone call. Always two sides to the coin and looks as if you two professionals can get it worked out.

Capt Phil is a great guide and person. Before i was became a guide
My family always enjoyed his company and fishing.
I agree with Mr. Clean. Y'all should resolve this and Phil if he doesn't don't worry about it. Can't please some people.

I have not fished with him before. However, he did post on here asking to work it out. I have also been a member here and on the THF for many years. The guide made his comments and asked the OP to send him a message or call him to better work it out. That is more than most men would do.

Just because you don't post on here often doesn't mean your opinion is worthless. I never post, just read. Most of the posts are not worth the time it takes to respond to them.
Just because you're a "pro-angler" on tff doesn't mean anything except you have no life but hanging out on tff. I know Phillip. He's a good person and works hard (for me at least). He's offering to make it right and there are always two sides to every story. If you're willing to take the word of an internet post as gospel truth, then you're a moron and I doubt ANY guide wants your business. It's sad that Phillip probably has a lot of satisified customers, but it only takes one to make him look bad.

I've been with a lot of guides and some of the ones I've seen on here have really been nasty to me and my kids. They also haven't caught fish. I've never bashed one. I just move on. Found a good one in Phillip. Give the guy a break. Has anyone here not ever had a bad day? We really don't know the truth.

When did TFF become a flaming forum. i came here to avoid this type of forum. i fish to relax, i fish and talk about fishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of this type of hatred. It comes down to a few things...some people dont like other peopleand there s nothing that can be done aboutit. i know I have met people who initially, ith out saying one word to them or them me...i dislike. I do not why and try my best to not act in malice. Maybe this was one of those situations....maybe talk to each, find some common ground...and move the F on!

not trying to stir the pot, but Redfishman...all your posts have the date you joined the forum. Ironically you are hurting not helping...by having the same join date of 4/10/12. We should all move on about this, let the two parties solve the problem.
