Cody there will be no worries about not knowing anybody YET. By the time you leave you will be surprised with how many new kayaking buddies you make. The people are great in this sport and especially at the North Texas kayak G2G's. People are very laid back and very friendly. Your going to enjoy yourself, trust me.

Last year was my first GTG and first year in TX to boot. All the guys made me feel so welcomed, had a huge fish fry, crawfish, games, tournament and had a amazing day. Came away from that day with friends I am going to have for a very long time even when I move out of TX in a few years. You are going to enjoy the day immensly and all the fun we have at our little shin digs.

I will echo everything said so far, I mean come on we let Shaun in the group so we can only go up from there...
