After reading a few posts about spinning a hub and stuff I got to thinking about what I should take with me for just in case.

I have never had to quit a tournament early (knock on wood) because of equipment failure. I have had to quit fishing early in practice because of a spun hub and some other small things before.

Besides spare plugs and a hub what else should I bring with me?

Thanks

BJ

Got a hotfoot? Carry a spare spring. It saved the day for me once.

Electricians tape, duct tape, and spare electrical splices. Spare pin and prop for the trollmotor. Leatherman type multi tool. Spare wheel bearing and race and grease of course. A socket set and wrenches. Cell phone. Oh yeah don't forget the roll of T.P.

Just one more cast!

I say Extra Money, and maybe the names and numbers of a few TFF members that live close to where you will be. Good luck.

carry a spare hub nut keeper & cotter pin, if you drop the one on your prop the spare hub or prop won't be any good. A pair of channelock pliers & a multi tip screwdriver is also handy.
