I've fished Stillhouse 4-5 times, and I've never been skunked, but I've never caught anything better than 2lbs either. I know that lake holds some good fish, I just can't find them. Has anyone been out there lately? I'm planning on going on Monday and would sure like some help.

I heard the bite was on big time about a month ago when we had all that warm weather, but its since come to a screeching halt. Know a guy who fished out there all day two weekends ago and got skunked, didn't even have a bite. If I were you I'd try to go either before this cold front hits this weekend or later next week after it warms up again.

Thanks for the fast reply Bossbowman. Although I don't like what you said to much!! Unfortunately I'm off this Monday, working the rest of the week, and was hoping to wet a hook somewhere. Stillhouse has kind of become a challenge to me, and I'm losing.

Talked to a guy not too long ago that said he was having luck lately on a heavy T-rigged brush hog thru the grass on the main lake. Haven't tried it but he sounded convincing enough...smedley

I think I'll go give it a shot anyway. Even if it's cold and windy it's better than sitting around the house.

Give us a report when you get back, I'm planning on making a trip down there in march or april.
