I sure hate that Bass Champs moved the scheduled event from Choke to Falcon, I know they had there reasons but it would have been nice to fish that event there. Now if I can find out about Lake Travis

It would be nice to be able to say that the gators will never eat me. BUT, you just can't trust them. They'll eat anything they want.

On a lighter note; exactly which part of the lake would you recommend that I try? I'll never mind the gators, for a chance at a 6 lb LMB.

Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

Nice chunk there. Congrats on the PB. Even with it still so low she's starting to heat up a little. Bassn' Dave has been pulling some unbelievable sacks out of there consistently this year.

Heard the grass was in terrible shape a month ago, how's it looking now? Wish I was in Possum right about now.

Heard Bassin Dave had a couple of clients from Colorado a couple of weeks ago and their best 5 went 32#.

They were culling 4 & 5 # LMB.

Choke has has been near back to normal this year. In 3 trips I've had an 8.5 and several over 5, lost a couple other 6+. I think a year without bass champs will be really good for the lake. Its not a big lake and it can use a little rest.
