The Boat docks close to I35 have held some fish in the deeper water across from the Launch at
Garden Ridge exit and 35.
I have caught several large mounth on the humps
of the main lake point headed east out of those
boat slips.
I also caught some fish up on the north east side of the main lake around the old pilings
on the far north east bank.
Then finally the rip rap on the Dam can still produce fish in the winter,Not a Large mouth
guy but have picked up some in those areas.

Hope it helps good luck

I would second the go slow, both fishing and boating. I caught one nice fish yesterday fishing very slow. I hit one nice rock yesterday at idle speed and took about a two inch section (scratch)out of gel-coat. I say it was a rock, but possibly could have been a t-post or pipe of some kind. Beware on all lakes would be a good piece of advice. Good fishing and boating to all!!!
