We are going to Lake Ivie next week to look for cats. We want to Rod and Reel fish. Just curious what areas we need to target. I know rip-rap is a good area, but Ivie doesnt' have an rip rap dam or bridges. It does have rocky bluffs and rock shore line.
What depth should we stay in as well?

Just need some direction. I am new to catfishing.

I've been catching them at Hubbard Creek in 3 ft or less up in the back water areas.
