This year when Grandpa Ray brought grand daughter Peyton fishing she brought a friend, Racheal. The girls had a fun day, from casting their own cast, to baiting their own hooks, and pulling in fish too...did I mention inspecting the carcass after I filleted the fish. They ended the morning of fishing with 43 fish for an Easter afternoon fish fry. All fish caught on CJ's shad punch bait, under cork, in 5 foot water. Winds were almost non existent.   I had not fished Somerville in over three weeks, back when it was 2 foot low. Saturday I had Corey, Steven, and Daniel from Texas City and Beaumont areas. They were camping with the wives and sneaked out wyhile they slept for a morning of fishing. The winds were very light. The first spot produced nothing, second spot produced 5 fish, 3rd spot produced nothing, and 4th spot finally gave up some fish. They ended the morning with 32 fish before the wives started summoning them back to shore...LOL. I helped them out...I told the wives they had said they were going to take them shopping as soon as they got back to shore... All fish caught under cork, in 4 foot water, using CJ's shad punch bait.
