should be on! the rain oxygenates the lake making the fish more active. may want to get as close to a feeder creek or river as possible.

I always asumed the bite was picked up more because fish looking for food washed into the water, but yeah I agree the bite should be on!

Thanks for the info guys, I left before any one replied back and fished just about the entire lake except for the creek mouth. Ended up catching only a 4pound blue and a 7pound channel. Shad where spread out and hard to find but managed a few gizzard. Thanks again
