I have a 78 Johnson 115 horse that is spiting and sputtering. The top end was rebuilt a few years ago, but I think the carbs need to be cleaned and rebuilt with one of those kits you can buy. If I touch it, it will never run again. Anyone know someone who can do this for me for a reasonable price?

Call David (aka Spanky's Mobile Boat Repair). He did a carb job on my 1997 Evinrude 115 a little over a year ago and did an excellent job. Much cheaper than the dealers and I was able to watch him at my own home and learn a little bit about how to do it myself next time.

Yup, Spanky can do it.
Jeez , I wish I lived on a lake and was fully retired. I could make a fortune doing nothing but carb jobs for those old OMC engines.
Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.
