Well, the time has come. Close to 600 employees have been working around the clock to finish what will be the largest tourist attraction in the state...and it opens this Thursday, May 26th. All of us are absolutely pumped and can't wait to see your faces when you walk through the door. I personally want to welcome each and every TFF member to our new "home". I am coming next week. I have still not been to Bass Pro, I will not make that mistake with your employer. I drove by there on the way home from Oklahoma a few weeks ago, very impressive. Can't wait to see it all.

Sweet. Where is it, exactly? I'll definitely have to check it out soon, and check out their vast selection of carp gear.  I always loved going to Cabelas when I lived in MN, it was well worth the trip, more so then Bass Pro I think. Can't wait to see how a Cabelas turns out in Texas.

Cabelas is off of 35w in Ft. Worth. It is just south of Alliance airport.

The store is at I35W and 170 in far North Fort Worth, right across from Alliance Airport. Store opens at 8:00am. I'm the Facilities Manager, so I will be all over the store most likely.
Just a few things you don't want to miss are the 6 acre outdoor lake with the grand cascading water falls, the 40ft conservation mountain, the HUGE African diorama, the 12,000sf Texas Deer Museum, the 65,000 gallons worth of aquariums, and my favorite spot, Mesquite Grille Deli. Elk sandwich and Bison Brats....mmmmmmmm.

What about the Buda store?
