Took the family to Lewisville for a couple of hours. Found a huge pile of sandbass with some hybrids mixed in.

Boy took his first unassisted sandbass. Lure of choice was a minnow on his spiderman pole.

Then caught a hybrid or two.

Then the boy caught a few more and was pretty happy about it.

My boy is 3. Can't wait for that day with him.

Congrats. Bet that was an awesome day on the water.

Nick is 3-1/2.
We fished last year too. He was throwing ice at surfacing fish saying that he was feeding them. grin
Of course, he is special... He has three hands. clap

That little fellow is a keeper. Can't wait to go take my three grandsons fishing again. They love to fish.
