Fished AH this weekend, top water bit was slow and didn't last long. Most of our fish came from 15-20ft of water, fishing any plastic in green pumpkin either texas rigged or fishing a drop shot. We didn't catch a lot of fish but the fish we did catch were all in the 2-4lb range. A normal weekend on AH, tons of boats and very hot!

Fished the weekend of the fourth on Sunday. Caught them on senkos and crankbait. Most were in the 2-3 lb range but lost one 8lbs plus. Just spit my lure out when it came up out of the water. Later it got to dangerous with the d--- a-- weekend boaters that have no idea what the are doing. We won't mention the wave runners/jet skiers.

The Houston Chronicle had a great article about Alan Henry lake a couple of days ago. Seems like they predict the next Texas record bass will come from there. Good luck guys.

Skeeter I've been on the lake every day this week and after about 9 am all of my bites are drop shot. The best bite seems to be coming at sun down. I have yet to establish a good top water bite this year yet. My biggest bites are coming on 10 in T rigged worms 10 to 12 feet on ledeges on main lake points in the early mornings.

Sounds Great!!! I wonder if the guys who wrote the article about the next world record saw the picture of the dude in Cali with the 25lb+ bahemoth? Even though it's not recorded as the record, it's in there.

As luck would have it, my girlfriend's sister lives in San Diego & yours truely will be giving that puppy a shot.

Wouldn't that be cool for a good ole Texas boy to go show those Californian's how to do it. rolfmao rolfmao rolfmao bolt
