Guys, I know that it's still a ways off, but this little cool snap has got me thinking about deer season already. Anyway, I've got a question.
Two years ago, I was in an Oshman's that was going out of business west of Ft. Worth. I bought a couple bags of these leaves. Basically, they're like fake oak leaves in assorted shades and you can attach them to your clothes or a ground blind via safety pins (included in pack).
Anyway, I no longer have the packs they came in, but do recall seeing an add for them in one of my hunting magazines a few months ago. Needless to say, I can't find the ad again and I'm having no luck locating them on the internet (probably not holding my mouth right).
My question is: Has anyone else seen these anywhere or know what the name of the company is that sells them? They work really well and I'd like to get more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Verne

No, it's nothing like the stuff on the gili suites. Instead, it's more like the fake leaves you see on fake trees in office buildings and such. Fact is, you can just buy a bunch of fake bushes at a craft store, tear them apart, and you've pretty much got the same thing. Problem is, I can't seem to find any there that look exactly the same. Also, these are made to attach to your clothing or whatever else you want to put them on.
Thanks for the response anyway.

hey, I can't hunt any more because of my back problems, I have the leafy shirt and pants (forget what you call them) I was planning on putting on ebay, if anyone is interested, size xlg, shirt, pants, and pauncho and hat, never worn. I will take 50% of new plus shipping, won't weigh hardly any thing.

Seen them in the Cabelas catalog before.
It doesn't matter how you find the pot of gold, all that matters is that you beat the leprachaun.

I bet if ya went to Hobby Lobby you could find all kinds of artificial leafy stuff and probably a lot cheaper. Take your wife/significant other so they dont mistake you for an interior decorator
Probably the saddest thing you will ever see is a mosquito sucking on a mummy, Forget it little friend!! :-(

Okay guys, I finally found them. They are called "Sneaky Leaf". Cabela's does carry them, but the best price going is through Wal-Mart. News to me, but you can actually order and pay for them on-line (through Wal-Mart's web site) and they'll ship them to the closest store in your area. They cost $10 per pack. I think you get about 100 per pack.
As for how they work, they come with a supply of small black safety pins that you use to attach them to your clothes or blind or whatever. Oh, and the so called "leafy suites" out there have nothing on these.
