Have any of yall done this on your Yamahas? Ive done it with Mercs but never Yamaha and was wondering if anyone has tried? Thanks

I've done it before on my VRO for my Johnson. The basics, I assume, is to disconnect the oil supply line and plug it. Then premix your fuel. Just be prepared for excessive carbon build up.

do not do this. this is not the same old VRO system that didnt have a resevoir on the motor. The system on modern motors is the last thing you have to worry about.
