I spoke with a fellow at the lake today and he said it came up only an inch or so. It seems that the heavy rains that hit Houston never made it to Conroe.

When and if the lake fills back to norm,Its goin' to be some good bass fishing.. Some creeks have a lot of grass in them and it will be 3 ft. of water over the grass.. I'm ready for this fall to get here.. Went last Wed.morn 6-9 ,caught one 2# and had several bites on Yum Dingers (char/pepper & greenwatermelon) I don't fish Conroe much during hot weather

Yeah I was wishing for a foot or so. Just to get in the water a little easier and fishing will improve as well. Come on RAIN.... CBW

Hate to say this, but it looks like its gonna take a tropical storm to dump enough rain to fill the lake. The fish is good now if you can launch your boat. Stow Away marina off calvary road on the north end of the lake has enough water.
