I intended to boat a LMB or 2 but it was so windy it was tuff to hug the shoreline. Luckily as soon as I put in at about 2pm there were birds diving everywhere. I landed 8 white bass within the first 45 minutes. Finished the day around 7p with 16 bass and 1 Crappie. Not too bad a day, just wish Grapevine had bigger white bass or some stripers. I caught all the bass on a chrome slab. I am probably going to go back out there again today.

Good luck guys.

Greg are you the ones I saw over at Mcpherson Slough and you only got a couple? I ended up getting 8, This was my first catch of sandies, caught some on Hell-Pet and some on a chartreuse TNT, it was windy but I still had a great time.
How do Basstrackers handle the wind like sat?

Got out there today (4-27), we caught 7 dinks in about 25 minutes throwing a rattle trap, ended the day with 10 total. Fished from 8am-12.
