i have not gone this week, but unless it has gotten bad recently, it was not a major kill. I have not seen a dead fish in 2-3 weeks.

its not that its killing tons of fish, but its making the fishing absolute [censored] in the best time of the year.
It took like 6lbs to win the burleson classic, thats less than half of what it normally takes, no fish on beds, etc...
Hopefully it will clear up, we had the kill last year and it cleared up and we had a tremendous April.
We will see.

Conditions worsen I have been camped on the Brazos since Sunday all was good till the rains on Tuesday then the perch on trot lines started dieing after only being on the line 2 hours. Wednesday we had seven dead fish and today all the fish on the line were dead including a 20lb blue and a 20lb yellow. I pulled in my lines this morning and went home.

I thought the algae only bloomed in mid-50 degree water?
Shouldn't the toxin be pretty diluted and/or washed downstream by now?

Bill that's how it seems to be on PK. It hits in the late winter early spring. By this time it's done. But who knows I'm no biologist.

I was on Rock Creek at P.K. two weeks ago and saw a few Gizzards and small carp swimming in circles on top, But nothing major.
