I don't mind cranking on it, but I'm stuck as to what to use as an anchor point inside the garage. Where would you attach to the trailer? Plain and simple solution. You go to northern tools or wherever and buy a $20 come-a-long and some extra rope. Crank the comealong and reset it a few times. I've loaded many cars on trailers with that. That's the cheapest fix, period. A little time involved but not much work.

Have an alley garage and the guy across the alley has no fence but I was tearing up his yard with my truck so I had to find a better solution. Looked at all the options your looking at. Trailer dollies are slow but probably faster than a winch or come-a-long. If you go that way, drill a hole in the garage floor concrete and put in a big eye bolt anchor to hook your winch to. I decided on the 4-wheeler. Found one on Craigs List. I have a 18' 5" Ranger and I got a 375 Artic Cat. Works OK but should have gotten about a 500cc with a 2" receiver. I have to pull up in the alley, unhook the trailer, move the truck, and use a floor jack to get it on the 4 wheeler. The trailer jack won't drop it low enough to hook onto the ball of the 4 wheeler. The tongue weight of my trailer is somewhere around 400 hundred lbs and even in my youth I wasn't picking that up. Got it down to an art now, so it doesn't take too long. Yep, the 4 wheeler was an extra expense but in the whole scheme of fishing expenses, it was worth it and I like this way better than any of the other options! I feel for ya, Good Luck and Happy !

I have a rear entry drive also. So I recentyly installed a receiver hitch on my CRV to back it in. I can get it in with my wife's H3 but this keeps me from tearing up any of mine or my neighbors ground.

I have a Yamaha Grizzly, but it isn't at this house and I only have a single garage stall for the boat. HOA won't allow us to store a trailer or anything outside. If I put something in the floor will it have enough strength to yank my boat in? I just wish I could fish by myself more often. I can't leave my boat outside either... HOA! I don't mind cranking on it, but I'm stuck as to what to use as an anchor point inside the garage. Where would you attach to the trailer? I have basically the same problem. We had a 2008 Wrangler that was AWESOME, but we got rid of that to get this house. I have a rear entry drive also. So I recentyly installed a receiver hitch on my CRV to back it in. I can get it in with my wife's H3 but this keeps me from tearing up any of mine or my neighbors ground.

So you spent months looking for a house with a garage deep enough to fit the boat, and didn't think about the fact that you wouldn't be able to swing the boat into said garage?
Two options.
Move your sports car to the hard to get to garage.
Or tear up the landscaping and lay some more driveway, giving easier access to the third garage.

In the long run, keeping a ford is always your most expensive option.

I am having the back of my two vehicle garage extended 5 feet on one side so my boat will fit in the garage and my car as well. I saw the garage wasn't going to hold both as it was obviously not deep enough. I have been demolishing the plasterboard behind the boat using the whaletail on the O/B, step one done!

You should be able to use a chemical anchor and set an eyebolt in the floor plenty strong to pull against. Fastenal should carry what you would need.

I've got a buddy that has a electric dolly. He just plugs it in with an extension cord and punches the boat in the garage. It works great and I've seen him use it enough that I would buy one if needed.

If you want to try to mount a winch in your garage, you could mount it to the wall somehow (probably will need to retro fit something for additional support) or you could use wedge anchors and mount it to the floor- I would assume the boat would have to be positioned somewhat in line with the garage for the winch to work- You can buy a pretty good used four wheeler for $2500-
