Went to Sam Rayburn this past week and caught the hell out of those bass in the shallow but I was just catching bass between 10-14 inches and before sunset I landed a big female finally and she ended up being 8 pounds and so I released her because she was full of eggs and the water is looking great to, it is kind of stained but not alot and the water temp is about 64 degrees and higher in some places so the lake is looking great.

Something about Ultimate's post is just.........well............I dont know...............PAINFUL is the word I am looking for I guess. Just kiddin' Ultimate..
I was up there sat and sun and have the same story as you. Mine was only 5 lbs though. Went thru 4 bags of senkos from 2pm sat til dark. Caught an absolute ton of small fish.

Did the same thing. Fished a tournament that morning caught about 40 but nothing of size. went back to the house then grabed a bite to eat and swung in 5 fingers for 2 hours and caught a 7 pounder on a buzz bait. plus about 10 little ones.
