Build a new Garage/Man-Cave. It will solve more problems then ever thought possible.

This is a house we moved into in August, this 3rd garage is attached to my man-cave with separate shower, mini-fridge and wall mounted TV. I ain't building JACK! :-) Build a new Garage/Man-Cave. It will solve more problems then ever thought possible.

We looked at 64 houses to find a garage deep enough for the boat and all the features the wife wanted. If I sold this boat, I'd be sleeping in the yard for quite a while.

You could always put it in a boat storage and convert your 3rd garage stall into something that your wife might like?

Put it in the other garage and put that old Ford on the street. Problem solved. I knew we could do it.

Tell your wife you need a new four wheeler to get the boat in the garage. This is how married men have to accumulate toys.

Now THAT's funny! The other garage holds my other toy: 2012 GT I think my toy buying is OVER for quite a while. Tell your wife you need a new four wheeler to get the boat in the garage. This is how married men have to accumulate toys.

I've done it in an apartment garage before. I was young and strong but the Triton was jump more than I could handle after a long day of fishing. It was a slight incline into the garage as well...that's what really made it tough. I couldn't mount the winch in the floor so I had a finely engineering system that put all the pressure on the front of the garage while the winch was at the back. It was the only way I could make it work...was always scared it was going to rip the front of the garage off. I think I used this one from harbor freight. I bought an extension cord as well and spliced it in to make the control cord significantly longer. http://www.harborfreight.com/880-lb-electric-hoist-44006.html If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm.

Yep, the lip of the garage is what's kicking my butt, and the slope of the driveway. If you are on level ground...

Plain and simple solution. You go to northern tools or wherever and buy a $20 come-a-long and some extra rope. Crank the comealong and reset it a few times. I've loaded many cars on trailers with that. That's the cheapest fix, period. A little time involved but not much work.
