I have structure scan (SS) on my boat - transducer is at the rear of the boat

Would like to get another Lowrance HDS for the front that monitors a SS transducer on the trolling motor....

without buying another structure scan.

I have looked on the web and it appears my options are to either connect and disconnect the transducer cable each time or to buy another SS.

Have any of you figured out a better way or is there a kit or something out there?

I believe you can run multiple units off of one SS.

Yes, you can. You just need to buy another transducer for the front.

thanks - I was more talking about a transducer up front that shows me under the bow directly AND a transducer in the back I can troll with while searching.

If I run multiple units its always going to be just the rear view since thats where the transducer is

heck I don't know....maybe thats close enough.

Me and my partner run HDS units, front and rear. The front can read ss from the rear transducer only. The unit itself has the option of reading from which transducer. To read ss at the same time you will need to seperate transducers, that is if you want to see what is directly in the front with that unit, and what is in the back with a different unit. You can set the units to read off the same transducer, but they will be the same.

Best Guess!
