What is going on at Conroe?? Haven't been in two weeks and need to know what is going on especially with this new weather we have......

Water temp is about 57 give or take and the fishing was on the slow side sunday morn. just ask BassAm. We missed a few here and there but only took in three all under 14". The last one I caught was kinda cool it was very slow going I was working a T-rig worm and said " I need a bite " then wham hooked up. I tried that pattern a few times more.....with out luck.

heading to conroe tomorrow, want see what my favorite spots look like now that they have no water on them while they repair the dam, will let you know how its going there

In my opinion I think the afternoon bite would be better, but I guess that's because Matt & I didn't fish it!

I'm going out tomorrow also. Going to try and fish the rip rap around the lighthouse and also seven coves condos and point. If thats slow I going after hybrids on the south by the dam.

good luck to yall going fishing tomorrow. conroe looks like the sahara desert right now. someone try the bridge riprap w/ a shallow crankbait. mmmm good

sunday tourny out of stowaways was won with 22 pounds anchored by the 8 1/2 big fish....most fish caught on cranks and worms around riprap and wood
I can backlash toilet paper.

Went this morning. Caught a ton of dinks cranking rocks early. Lost 3 cranks and started flipping docks. caught 2 or 3 more dinks then called it a day. pretty non-productive but still tons of fun.....

oh forgot to mention fishing out of 2 man bass hunter thats why no tourny and only back of stowaways...bass boat is getting new t/m installed 101 man 101

Throw a crank on the rocks leading out of stowaways. Like a Bandit 100 or 200 series. Let me know how you do. I'm fishing on Wednesday out there......

any of y'all headed to Conroe on Saturday and need a backseater? Never been on the lake before but would like to start learning some new lakes. Currently in between boats for the next year or so, and I have plenty of gas money!
